Pertubuhan Kebajikan Suara Hati Selangor, predecessor Nuhealth Charity, was established in April 2020. The first project is to assist the great frontliner in preparing epidemic prevention supplies (example: PPE protective clothing, droplet masks, medical masks, disinfectant, etc.), assist the frontliners to obtain better epidemic prevention equipment and work with more peace of mind. We also do our best in helping the vulnerable groups, orphanages, old folk’s homes and poor students in the Perlis area by providing them with foods, nutritional supplements and epidemic prevention materials.

Mentor and Origin

Mr. Ng Keong Cheng is a retired senior mechanic. Currently living a life of retreat, he uses his expert skills in Shiatsu and massage to provide free treatment for those in need. He often shares with us his life ‘attitude’ and opinions or behavior, which benefited us a lot. He always emphasizes “From the society and for the society”, be grateful and contribute to the society. On 18 Mac 2020, our country (Malaysia) government announced the lockdown of the city. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are forced to lockdown. After the lockdown, all of us started to “panic”, the hospital beds were full, we lacked epidemic prevention supplies, and various news broke out that our great medical team and frontliners had to “fight” in the absence of sufficient epidemic prevention supplies! In order to save the Covid-19 patients, they race against time with their own lives. Mentor, Mr. Ng Keong Cheng convinced us to have a discussion, hoping to do the best for the frontliners. We all shedded tears during the discussion! After the help of enthusiastic people, we finally got to hand over the epidemic prevention supplies to the medical staff. That’s why our charity group started!
